This insert was built to make your tool feel like it belongs in the PACKOUT. The grinder sits at an angled base-first position that locks it in tight and makes it dead simple to grab and go — even one-handed.

Grinders kick up metal, grit, and all sorts of crap — so we added a grated housing underneath the tool head. It helps dust fall through over time, making cleanup easier and preventing buildup that could mess with tool fitment long-term.

Lift it out, load it up, slap it back in. This tray gives you dedicated space for 1/4" Burrs, wrenches, and disc attachments, all tested with thick welding gloves so you're not stuck fumbling. Thick walls and angular bridging make this one of our most rugged trays yet.

You’ve got sanding discs, cutting discs, and the random ones you never label — this insert handles them all. With disc slots at the base and upper right, we made sure your go-to accessories are always within easy reach.

In the top left, we added 13 extra storage holes for 1/4" Burrs — ideal for the oddball shapes or larger attachments you don’t use daily, but still want with you. Clean layout, easy pickup, no wasted space.

Spare collets are small but critical. So we gave them a clear, front-facing home inside the insert — easy to see, easy to grab, and keeps them from getting lost at the bottom of your tool bag.

This insert ships with a custom-cut piece of EVA foam to stick in your PACKOUT lid. That way, your tool stays locked in — even without a battery attached. Stops bouncing, absorbs knocks, and helps extend the tool's life on-site.
