Let Us Show You How Tough Our Battery Carriers Are!

🔥 Go ahead, try this with PETG-printed gear from another manufacturer... Actually, don’t unless you enjoy picking up shattered pieces.

We’re the ONLY Aussie manufacturer printing with ASA plastic! The same tough-as-nails material used in car bumpers.

💪 PETG prints won’t survive this. Ours will. 🚀

How We Make Our 3D Prints Tough as Nails!

Our 3D printing process isn’t your average hobby setup. We've put in hundreds of hours of research and development to ensure our products are built for tradies, not just for show. This isn’t something you can do by simply buying a printer and hitting print—we are a business obsessed with material science, and our products need to handle real job site conditions.

We don’t print for fun like your mate who makes keychains in his garage. Every part we produce has to withstand real-world abuse and perform flawlessly in demanding environments.

1. Choosing the Right Plastic

Choosing the right plastic

Not all plastics are created equal. We use ASA plastic, the same material found in car bumpers because:

  • Tough as nails – Resists cracking and breaking.
  • UV resistant – Won’t degrade in the sun like cheaper plastics.
  • Chemical resistant – Holds up against oils, fuels, and solvents.
  • High softening temperature of 102°C – Won’t deform in extreme heat.

2. Super-Drying for Maximum Strength

Super drying process

Plastics absorb moisture from the air, and damp filament leads to weak, brittle prints. That’s why we run every spool through specialized industrial drying ovens before printing.

Why Drying Matters

  • Better layer adhesion → Stronger prints with no weak spots.
  • Smoother finish → No bubbling or imperfections.
  • Higher overall strength → Properly dried ASA fuses at a molecular level.

3. Layer Adhesion – The Key to Strength

Layer adhesion

3D printing works by stacking thin layers of melted plastic on top of each other. If those layers don’t bond properly, the print will have weak spots where it can break or split apart.

How We Ensure Rock-Solid Layer Adhesion

  • Super-Dry Filament – Moisture ruins adhesion. We oven-dry every spool before printing.
  • Controlled Printing Temps – ASA needs a hot environment to bond properly.
  • Heat Soaking – After printing, we reheat the entire part to let the layers fully bond.
  • Slow, Even Cooling – If a part cools too fast, layers can pull apart.

4. Why Our 3D Prints Are Tougher Than the Rest

This is what separates us from hobbyists or businesses using basic PETG prints and calling it a day.

  • We use the best materials – ASA beats PETG in toughness, UV resistance, and longevity.
  • We fine-tune every step – From drying to post-processing, nothing is left to chance.
  • We design for the real world – Our prints handle tradie abuse, not just display shelves.

We don’t just make 3D prints—we engineer them to last. Every product is designed with materials, forces, and real-world conditions in mind. That’s why Code Breaker Labs’ 3D prints are the toughest around.
