Ergonomics Meets Functionality

We optimised the layout for the best user experience possible. The insert is designed to hold the Bandfile with or without the battery attached, giving you full flexibility depending on your setup. We also made sure to leave clear space around the tool so it’s easy to grab, handle, and return — even during repetitive use.

A Holder That Adapts to You

We wanted a better way to manage sanding belts, so we created a dedicated belt holder system available in both 13” and 10” variants. Each holder can store up to seven belts and can be fully removed for convenience — perfect for taking directly to the work area.

We also integrated a slot for the allen key inside the holder, since it’s essential for changing belts. To load belts, just hook one end over the base and use the beveled top edge to slide the rest into place — smooth, simple, and secure.

Extra Power on Hand

We know sanding jobs can take time, so we added room in the top-left corner to store an extra 2.0Ah battery. It’s a small addition that gives you that extra runtime when you need it most, without sacrificing layout or fit.

Clean by Design

Dust buildup is inevitable with a tool like the Bandfile, so we integrated a custom grate beneath the sanding belt area. This lets excess dust fall through instead of collecting around the tool, helping keep your insert and organiser clean for longer. We also included a pickup cavity at the base of the grate to make it easy to scoop out debris — another detail we refined through testing to keep the design as practical as possible.
